Did I graduate from High School & my Career & future

So, last October (2017), I got a certificate of completion from Zoe Barnum, since I was in Kindergarten, I was in a IEP, I was put in Special Education class throughout my whole entire school career, for those who don't know what a IEP is, is a education program given to students with disabilities such as those in the Autism Spectrum.

So I did some research earlier today, & so I completed High School, but didn't graduate, does that sound confusing, well it does, there are requirements in order to get a High School diploma, & I haven't met those requirements yet, so I felt devastated, so I did some research, & I could go to Adult education, & finish my diploma there.

The reality is, I never committed to school in my life, I was too busy enjoying life, or trying to get away with things, my life has been like a vacation, notice most students hate school these days, but when you haven't been in a structured, educational setting like forever, you develop a different point of view of seeing the universe.

When you have no high school diploma or GED, you will have less chances of getting a job, I get SSI every month due to my Autism diagnosis, but SSI is not enough to live a successful life, once you pay rent, electricity, internet, & phone, you're money basically runs out, no trips, no Starbucks, you will go hungry, unless you have family backing you up.

As for my family, my folks are in both in their early 50s, raising three kids (14, 13, & 2 years old), & my dad being the only one that works in my family, my mom being a homemaker, my parents own their house, my dad has to pay all the bills, & he has to work, I still see my family everyday, despite living in my own apartment, because I have to eat at their place.

I basically live off my father & SSI, without my father, I would have to go hungry, most of my SSI is from rent, people can say, get a job, like my people have told me in the past, but most places won't hire 19 year olds without a high school diploma or GED.

College is expensive, & my family doesn't have the funds to support me, & with my ceritificate of completion, I can't get financial aid, I have to pay for my classes.

I'm trying to get my degree in Anthropology, as Anthropology is my passion, as it's the science of humanity, I'm trying to start with community college, & hopefully transfer to University,

I did start college, however I dropped out after, I wasn't prepared for college, I was going through many life changes, moving out of my parent's house, living in motels, & vice versa, now that I'm trying to go back to college, I want to talk to a counselor at the local community college, & ask him, If I can continue with my college career, without a proper diploma or GED.

All I can say, is to wish me luck for my life, I have a whole life ahead of me.
